APPLICANTS WAIVER OF CLAIM AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT FOR USE OF COUNTY CAMP GROUNDS

For and in consideration of the County's providing the use of the above-mentioned building, facility, or grounds, I, the undersigned, individually, jointly and in any representative or legal capacity, on behalf of my respective self, heirs, executors and/or administrators, do hereby waive, release, discharge and agree to hold harmless and indemnify the COUNTY OF KAUAI, its officers, employees and agents, individually and in their official capacity, from all liability of loss of the above-described County building, facility, or grounds. I further avow that my aforesaid waiver, release, discharge and agreement shall be applicable to any guest or participant in any program or event conducted or held by the Applicant at the above-described building, facility, or grounds.

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. To apply for a camping permit, please complete the application linked here and return to:

  2. Upon receipt of your application, your requests will be reviewed, processed and logged. Payments may be mailed with your application, only if the payment is made with a cashier's check or money order (payable to "Director of Finance"). Mailed permits will be issued only up to one (1) month prior to first camp date, to insure your receipt of the permit. Thereafter, permits may be obtained when you arrive on Kauai.

  3. State of Hawaii Residents, who can show proof of residency (i.e. xeroxed Hawaii driver's license), are exempt from camping fees. However, xeroxed copies of ALL adult camper's local I.D. must be sent with this application form.

  4. Permits will be issued from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday except holidays. Permit fees are $3.00 PER ADULT, PER NIGHT. Minors 17 and under are free.

  5. Permits will be issued by the Park Ranger, at the campsite, for a charge of $5.00 per adult, per night. However, Park Rangers do NOT work late at night or very early in the morning.

  6. Persons wanting to obtain permits after normal business hours can obtain permits for $3.00 per adult, per night, from the Park Rangers if the following requirements are readily available:

  7. We accept reservations for large eleemosynary groups registered with the State of Hawaii (i.e., Scouts, Sierra Groups, etc.). Please submit proof of registration when you apply for a permit.
