The Division of Parks and Recreation provides quality recreational and leisure time experiences for residents and visitors of the County of Kauai.
Camping permit fees are $3.00 per adult per night for non-residents and free for residents of the State of Hawaii. Contact Shani Saito, Parks Permit Section, at 808-241-6660.

Our Water Safety Section's primary concern is to educate tourists and residents of dangers that could occur while visiting beach locations. The Aquatics section conducts learn-to-swim programs, age group swimming and offers certification classes to the community. Guarded beach sites are as follows:
